This page details our Terms of Use (TOU). By using Rabbit Stew Lounge (RSL) you agree to the following terms and conditions. In concurrence with the Mission/Vision statement, you understand that RSL is obligated to enforce the terms and conditions as stated below:

Section 1: Member Obligations

You are not to post any material that is knowingly false, misleading, illegal, or inaccurate.

You are not to behave in an abusive and/or hateful manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack anyone on this site (see definition for ad hominum). Trolls will not be tolerated.

You are not to post links to images, media items, text, or URLs that are offensive, abusive, disruptive, and/or hateful. You will not use content hosted on domains that contain pornography or illegal content. Pictures (including avatars) and media files should be rated PG.

You are not to use profanity at RSL. In addition, refrain from posting any content that is obscene, sexually oriented, or sexually suggestive. Do not link to other sites that contain such content.

You are not to impersonate any person or entity, forge headers, or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any posting.

You are not to collect or store personal data about other users.

You are not to post advertisements, unless permission is granted by RSL. Advertising includes marketing, mass mailing, and recruitment.

You are not to post any copyrighted material. In addition, you are not allowed to link to any copyrighted material that is not freely available. You may however, post a paragraph or two from a freely available article, provided you state the author’s name, the source of the article, and you place a direct link to it. Only live music, personal recordings, un-copyrighted material, lectures, and other free material will be allowed.

You are not to cross-post content from other discussion boards or sources without the consent of RSL.

You are not to copy material from the RSL Forum and post them on other websites, quote in offline research, or any other publication without permission from either RSL or the person whose intellectual material you wish to use.

You are not to flood the Forums. This means that you are not allowed to post content that is clearly outside of the topic at hand, deliberately post irrelevant material, or post the same message multiple times.

You are not to post goodbye messages if you plan to leave the RSL community without first obtaining permission.

You are not to hack this site in any way.

You are not to copy style sheets, graphics, or other design and application content without permission.

You agree that every word you write, media file you post, image you link to, and URL you provide remains your sole responsibility. You agree that your material contributions indemnify and hold RSL harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees made by any third party.


Section 2: Member Rights

You have the right to file a complaint at any time with the administrator if you feel you are a victim of abuse at RSL.

You have a right to expect fair treatment and respect from each member of the community.

You have a right to a certain degree of privacy at RSL. Your Private Messages are private, and will not be read by moderators or the Administrator.

You have a right to decline any service offered by RSL.

You have the right to edit the content of your blog postings.

You have the right to ask the moderators to delete a post or media item that you have uploaded.

You have a right to terminate your membership at any time.

You may have a second user name if (a) the second name is not a secret, (b) the first name has been retired, or (c) the Administrator gives you permission.


Section 3: RSL Obligations

RSL will enforce all rules set forth in the TOU.

RSL will uphold the spirit of the Mission/Vision statement.

RSL will respond to each user’s requests and comments in a timely manner.

RSL will continue to make this community happy and healthy in accordance with the Mission/Vision statement and under the guidelines set forth in this TOU.

RSL will amend the TOU if needed in order to protect members’ rights.


Section 4: RSL Rights

By posting at RSL, you grant this site a non-exclusive right to publish your posts in digital form, hard copy, or other publishing medium in perpetuity. This right does not extend to personal artwork, music, short stories, or third-party material. RSL may want to archive this site, for example.

RSL has the right to deny access to any part of the site.

RSL has the right to refuse any request.

RSL has the authority to decide to display your postings or not, and modify your posts to remove offensive material, vulgar comments, or insults at our discretion.

RSL reserves the right to delete any message and/or restrict posting rights for any reason whatsoever.

RSL has the right to delete user accounts at anytime and for any reason deemed fit. There is no ‘3 strikes’ policy at RSL. If you are in violation of these rules, and amends cannot be made, you will be deleted and your content likely removed.

RSL asks that new members post their first message within 30 days of activation. If a post is not made within 30 days, RSL reserves the right to inactivate the account at which time the member can seek to have the account reactivated.

RSL is privately owned and all decisions are made by the creator/owner.

RSL may change this document at any time and without notice.
